In the space of five years, Oliver Askew has climbed the Road to Indy Ladder and is now racing for the Arrow Mclaren SP Indy Car team. From his karting days, Askew showed immense talent, winning the Florida Winter Tour, before placing at the Rotax World Finals before his meteoric rise through the open wheel categories.
We chat to Oliver about how his competitive junior karting years, where he was up against the countries best and how that made him work hard to stay at the top. You can hear the motivation in Oliver’s voice that tells us we are listening to a future star in motor racing.
