The opening round of the Victorian country series will take place at the South West Kart Club, Cobden on February 17 & 18.

Sera driver development will field five drivers across the cadet 9 & 12 classes.

Fresh off his victory at the opening round of the Rotax Pro Tour, Peter Bouzinelos will look to continue the momentum on his first VCS event. Joining Peter in Cadet 9 will be Oakleigh driver Xavier Avramides who’ll have his first race in the SDD colours.

Cadet 12 has a strong field of over thirty drivers from across Victoria & South Australia with Brocklan Parker & Fraser Carr looking to challenge for the podium. Throughout 2017, both Parker & Carr were amongst the leading drivers and having won previously at the Cobden circuit will be going in with confidence.

Alongside Parker & Carr will be new recruit Jake Santalucia who’ll be having his third ever race. Although having never seen the Cobden circuit, Jake will be aiming to gain experience from the weekend and learn as much as he can.

“It’s the first time I’ve been to a VCS event & after seeing how well the organisers have grown the series over the last few years it’s a great to be a part of” said Dave Sera.

The drivers we have formed for the series this year have the capabilities to win races, so I’m hoping the SDD drivers can take home some silverware at the end of the weekend
